Interactive session on " How to excel in Group Discussions"

SGTBIMIT has always been keen to facilitate integrated, secure, competitive and scalable digital learning in the long run by preparing young professionals to match the Global Standards of institute-industry interface with focusing on promoting progressive spirit, innovative ideas, and entrepreneurial platform and for the same, the Institute has always kept knowledgeable sessions, seminars and workshops as a priority for the students to guide the students for their future career goals and how one can build himself to achieve them.

Mr. Amit Poddar started the session with teaching the students about what Group Discussion is, and how it is different from a debate, an extempore, and public speaking. Continuing further he explained the types of group discussions done in various offices or institutions. He elucidated how exactly one should start the conversation, how one should participate, what behavior or body language is to be shown, and how courteous one should be while in a group discussion

Moving further, he created 2 groups of 15 individuals each to enlighten them and give them a start to be a part of group discussion and learn how to excel in it. He guided everyone well and motivated all the students to be confident in life and be good team leaders and eminent speakers. The event was coordinated by our Training and Placement Officer, Ms. Swati Gupta.
